The automatic amplifier control on the Ameriphone XL40 sets the amplifier to turn on automatically every time you lift the handset, or you can choose to turn it on manually. The Ameriphone XL40 has advanced digital electronic design which minimizes background noise and further enhances speech clarity so that all words can be heard clearly. Other features of the Ameriphone XL40 include a visual ring indicator, 12 programmable one-touch speed dial keys, tone/pulse switch and large keypad buttons. The Ameriphone XL40 is a hearing aid T-coil compatible phone and is wall mountable.
