HeadMouseï Extreme replaces a standard computer mouse for people who cannot use their hands. It operates from the top of a computer monitor, laptop computer, or augmentative communication device, and measures the user's head movements.

The Beam allows a HeadMouse Extreme user to actuate the left, right and middle mouse buttons using adaptive switches without a direct connection to the HeadMouse. For a Swifty user, the Beam sends up to three button events that Swifty interprets as mouse buttons, joystick, buttons or keyboard keys based on Swifty configuration.

The Mounting Bracket was designed to attach the HeadMouse Extreme securely to notebook computer displays. It also works well for many augmentative communication devices and flat-panel computer displays. The bracket comes with two sets of wire clips, to accomodate the various thicknesses of displays.

Customized brackets are available for the DynaVox DV4 and MT4. These brackets are machined from Delrin and match the contours and dimensions of each device. The HeadMouse Extreme securely attaches to the bracket using a Dual Lock fastener. The bracket can be attached to the device temporarily for trial, or semi-permanently. Adhesives are included for both types of installation.
