The new Sanitizing Sweeper uses powerful ultraviolet light to kill germs, mold, bacteria and viruses that inhabit low-pile carpeting and floors throughout your home.
While the powerful beater brushes snatch up crumbs and dust, the Germ-X light kills dangerous germs – leaving your floors truly clean and disinfected. Because CleanWave Technology™ uses light, not chemicals - your family is fully protected from exposure to harmful household cleaners.
The Sanitizing Sweeper comes complete with multi-length shaft (to convert for use on stairs and upholstery), AC adapter/Quick-charge battery charger, and complete instructions. Four built-in headlights provide a clear view of flooring under chairs and tables.
The 1-year limited warranty covers the entire unit against defects in materials and workmanship. The Germ-X light is rated for 15,000 hours (about 7 years of normal use). Light and powerful, the new Verilux Sanitizing Sweeper stores easily in any closet and the dust bin empties into your wastebasket without exposing you to dirt. Destroy 99.9% of dangerous germs, bacteria and viruses while sweeping your floors.

The sweeper works great on my kitchen floor. I'm a bit worried about my 9 month old son crawling around (it's pretty high traffic, and we have a dog). This makes me feel more secure that it's a safer place to put him down and let him explore.
