How Do I Return an Item?

Return / Exchange Policy

At, Independent Living Technologies (ILT), customer satisfaction is our first priority. If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with your new purchase, you may return it within THIRTY (30) days.

Defective items, orders that are fulfilled incorrectly, and products sold with extended warranties or service plans are exempt from any restocking fee and will be replaced or repaired in accordance with warranty and service level terms. All other returns will be assessed a 15% restocking fee. Please note that ILT does NOT accept any returns outside of the United States, unless authorized at ILT's senior management level.

Items must be in like-new condition with original packaging, warranties and instructions. Items being returned for exchange must be received by ILT prior to shipping of replacement product. Items damaged or showing excessive use are not returnable for a refund. ILT reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for any returns not in resalable condition. Light bulbs may only be exchanged for the same product. Videos, books, software, and hygienic/bathroom products are non-refundable.

Return and Exchange Procedure

1) Contact ILT's customer service department to receive a return merchandise authorization number (RMA). Your return must ship within 5 days of the date ILT issues the RMA.
2) Place the product in shipping box with original packaging, warranties, and instructions.
3) Write the ILT issued RMA number on the outside of shipping box, clearly visible near your return address.
4) Ship the fully insured package to:*

Restocking Fees May Apply

Upon returning an item to ILT, a restocking fee may apply to include but not limited to the following circumstances.

Items Returned without Authorization:
Items returned within 30 days, but without an authorized RMA number will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Incomplete/Damaged Orders:
Products returned damaged or incomplete (including missing directions, warranty cards or accessories) will be charged a 15% restocking fee or the cost of replacing missing/damaged items.

Oversize Items and Items over $1,000: 
Any oversize items and any item whose total exceeds $1,000 will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.


Refunds, Credits and Exchanges:

Refunds:
Customers who paid using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover will receive a credit to their credit card account , less original shipping charge and any applicable restocking fees upon ILT receiving the returned merchandise. The original shipping charges are Non-refundable. Please allow one billing cycle/month for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Customers who paid with personal check, or cashiers check will be issued an ILT company check. Please allow approximately (4) weeks to receive the check.

Exchanges:
Once ILT has received the returned product please allow 1-2 weeks for order processing and shipping of new product.

Damaged or Incorrect Product:
If you have received an ILT product that is damaged or defective or incorrect, please contact ILTs customer service department by calling 1-877-458-7687 or e-mail at Support@ILTsource.com. One of our customer solution representatives will work on processing a replacement order and making arrangements for the product in question to be returned by us.
